Hello everyone,  This week in math was all about representing numbers to 1000 in different ways. We looked at showing numbers using: -Numerals -Number words -Base ten blocks -Expanded form  We practiced writing numbers into number words by learning how to write checks. This activity got a lot of laughs as we wrote each other practice checks and even learned how to use cursive writing to practice our signature. Have a great weekend! Drew

Hello families,  This week we went on our second community walk. Students have done an amazing job participating and learning while out in our community. This week, we used our walk to learn about the different ways that seeds travel and how this helps plant life. Each student was given a sock and as we walked we discovered different types of seeds that would stick to our sock. We then took our samples back to the classroom where we spent some time classifying, sorting and sketching the different seeds we found.  Have a great weekend,  Drew
