Hello Families,
This Wednesday we had an incredible day on our first field trip of the year to Bow Habitat Station. We spent the day learning about the life cycle of rainbow trout. We also learned about the special, unique adaptations that fish have that help them thrive in their habitat.
The steps in the life cycle of a Rainbow Trout are egg, alevin, fry and adult. - Atticus
We got to feed the fry and had some food to feed them- Tanush

The best place to hatch a fish egg is where there are medium sized rocks. -Felicia

Rainbow trout are amazingly fast fish in the water. - Mohammed
Dragonflies are born in the water and they stay in the water for 2-5 years. -Easton
Rainbow trout are the fastest non-saltwater fish. -Meredith
