Ramsay School Grade 3 Jackson

 This week in Literacy we read the book "Sometimes I Feel Like A Fox" as a class. We talked about the poetic language used in the story and what the main character meant by identifying as different animals. Then in partners, students brainstormed the characteristics of North American animals and we shared these ideas as a class.  Students then thought about which animal they identify with the most and explained why they chose that animal. We then began to record our ideas onto paper using pictures and words. 

 Hello families,  This week in Physical Educations students were introduced to the sport of curling! Using equipment that was adapted for the gym, students learned the basic terminology such as stone, house and the button. We then learned basic curling shots and how to keep score while playing mini games.
