 This week in Literacy we read the book "Sometimes I Feel Like A Fox" as a class. We talked about the poetic language used in the story and what the main character meant by identifying as different animals. Then in partners, students brainstormed the characteristics of North American animals and we shared these ideas as a class. 

Students then thought about which animal they identify with the most and explained why they chose that animal. We then began to record our ideas onto paper using pictures and words.
